All our fire pits, lids, and accessories are made from high-quality steel and will begin to develop a natural rust patina over time. This is a normal process and does not affect their durability or performance. While the original black finish will fade, the weathered appearance adds to the character of the piece. As each fire pit is handmade from sheet steel, natural blemishes may be present, giving every unit its own unique finish.
